"ME FIRST" IS THE MOTTO OF SELF, THE PROBLEM OF EGOTISM.

Like flu so is this problem of self and everyone is battling with this disease. No doubt the motto of self is "Me first, the biggest is mine, the best is mine". Egotism is perceived in promotion of self interests and not being loyal to others. This is eating many people because they want their "selves" to be better than other selves and for this reason, "I" is the subject of everything they do.

Egotistical people don't mind about the interests of others , they are always busy caring for their own selves and uplifting their likes and interests over those of others. This increases the spirit of "Selfishness", where brotherhood and friendship end on words, exchange of gifts is not part in these bonds because selfishness is eating the hearts of many.

Self is greedy, it always lusts for the biggest, the sweetest and the best. This is how it is detected, when you are given two mangoes of different sizes, yourself tells you "I want the biggest" why this?
It's because "self" is greedy and this is hard to control. So many people cannot theirselves, the reason why you hear of rapes. It's because someone failed to control their sexual selves.

Egotism is generally perceived in, power trip, meanness, promotion of self interests and likes, carelessness about others and so on.
Self when denied its likes groans from within saying "But I'm losing... Why don't you give me the best?" This is the reason why it's hard to control because it's within us. This is how it can be controlled, "Learn to be cool and content even when you eat little, even when you get small and when you lose and others win" There won't be stiff competitions that pull others down if we learn to be content even when we lose the best to others.

How do you vote?

It's our nature as human beings to first think of ourselves so longer as one knows how to balance it and it doesn't overwhelms one's decisions but it doesn't necessarily means being selfish unless it's being misused.
