Love as a fruit of spirit must be developed since Jesus Himself always dedicated to us that we should love our God with all our heart and soul and He referred to it as the the first and great commandment . Jesus also arged us to always love our neighbors as we we love our selves and through love we shall always be born to the family of God .Jesus Himself showed love to people in many ways and these include; Healing the sick like the way he healed a the blind man and he started seeing .Jesus also raised the dead as an act of love ,as we remember he raised Lasarus his friend from the dead when he had gone to visit Mary and her sister fiendsto. Jesus continued to feed the hungry as it is well written in Mathew 15:32 when he fed 5000 men together with their wives and children with a few pieces of bread and fish after having felt sympathised with them due to hunger, Jesus performed many acts of love and He managed to change the world therefore love must be developed as a fruit of spirit .

Galatians 5:22-23 tells us, “The Spirit produces love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, humility and self-control.” You may have heard about the fruit of the Spirit and wondered what it is and how it relates to our Christian faith.
Love is as a fruit of the Spirit must be developed and related to our everyday lives. Just like physical fruit needs time to grow, the fruit of the Spirit will not ripen in our lives overnight. As we mature in our faith, all the characteristics of our spiritual fruits will grow as well.
