The Bible is the story of God’s plan to redeem His people. It reveals who He is and who we truly are in Him.
The whole of Scripture tells the story of Jesus Christ, the ultimate expression of God’s love for us. When John refers to Jesus as “the Word,” he speaks of the Word that was made flesh, and came to live among us (John 1:14). This Word, manifested in the person of Jesus Christ, is the fulfillment of the covenant God made with His people, giving them and all who believe the promise of life with Him.God is not a God of coincidence or chaos, and Jesus was no coincidence. John’s words show us that Jesus was with God in the beginning. He is God, one with God, and the life He came to live on this earth was a part of a glorious plan from the beginning.

The word was God in that God spoke and the whole creation appeared from the word and nothing was created without the son. Entire creation was created through the son; Col 1:16 for by Him were all things created, that are in heaven and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether the thrones or dominions or principalities, or powers; all things were created by him and for him. Verse 17, and he is before all things and by him all things consist. Rev 19:13. His name is called the word of God. Therefore, God was in Jesus at not only creation but also during redemption at the cross. He is now with the father (God) at the right hand side in heavenly sanctuary.
