This creates an assumption that joining politics is one of the ways to get rich. Music industry faces stiff competition especially from upcoming musicians

Yes because they are seeing more opportunities in politics more than in music and even there's no had work to be done in politics compared to music industry where there is writing shooting videos producing and performing on stage.

Famous musicians have joined politics and I think it will affect their music industry but anyway they have a Choice

It will not affect it because even when they are there they will continue singing and also give chance to the new ones also to sing.

Of course yes, there is saying in kinyarwanda going like( imirimo ebyeri, yananiye impyisi) literally meaning, two works nevered a hyena so you can't chase two, there are somethings that wont be worked on equally simultaneously well, politics and singing ( being artist) so these our artist in Uganda should be loud and clear aware that of those, politics or singing, one of them will be a sacrifice to another one

Automatically will affect the Music Industry. Now when the veterans and the best singers go to politics then who sell the industry internationally

Obviously it will because at the moment many have ignored their music carrier and are very much involved in politics.
