Both poverty and riches are the offsprings of the mind and both requires being and doing. It's a process for one to become wealthy which revolves with the changing of one's mindset, with determination, desire and definateness of purpose hence doing what increases their wealth where as the poor ones wants to have what the rich have without being and going through the process that leads to riches and in so doing, they end up losing the little they have and hence making the rich richer and the poor poorer.

network § Generative models.
"The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" is an aphorism due to Percy Bysshe Shelley. In A Defence of Poetry (1821, not published until 1840) Shelley remarked that the promoters of utility had exemplified the saying, "To him that hath, more shall be given; and from him that hath not, the little that he hath shall be taken away." The rich have become richer, and the poor have become poorer; and the vessel of the State is driven between the Scylla and Charybdis of anarchy and despotism.
"To him that hath" etc. is a reference to Matthew 25:29 (the parable of the talents, see also Matthew effect). The aphorism is commonly evoked, with variations in wording, as a synopsis of the effect of free market capitalism producing inequality.

It's true because becoming rich has a formula and principles and rich people follow the formulas/ principles so they will always become richer while the poor people lack some desplines so they always tend towards poverty for example the rich invest while the poor save. The rich take risks the poor fear risks. The rich see opportunities swiftly decide fast and take action immediately the poor believe in salary

It's true because the richer make more research and read books which help them to get more money but the poor are just there waiting for God to bring miracles to them
