That's a routine they have to do every year on 9th October but in it's essence, it lost it's meaning because it was being politicised as an NRM event. Secondly other than wasting tax payer's money for such events, there's no need to continue celebrating that ceremonial independence because Uganda and most African people are not independent.

Yes it was well celebrate as it's the nature of celebration that can be held due to the problem of covid 19.Actually, the head of state addressed the nation and Ugandans listened and watched the entire function.

It was celebrated but it was not well but Uganda it's still under the hands of the whites ,in financial institution where banks are governed by European Union ,and still dominated here in works,

Uganda got their independence on 09 -October 1962. They have celebrating that day today and all went well eve though there is covid19.
