Yes, "twist" was a dance of those that dwelled the night clubs in those days and it was taught actually cz not everyone could just hop onto the floor and start dancing unless this person knew how to dance. Choreographers if i may call them so, made money out of teaching people to dance. These days, our kids dance like disorderly people....

Yes twist was a mega dance because people was in the late 60s was enjoining in than othy dances and was very hard to learn.

Yeah twist dance was more of culltural behavior and curried cores of, respect ,hence this built strong relationships between families and clans at large.
