I grew up knowing the red lining on my lips is just a mark until I was 27 years when I started getting other health issues. Hemorrhoids, you've probably heard of this disease, if not here is a highlight of it. Hemorrhoids are veins that swell at the extreme end of the colon (Anus), they swell due to a number of factors among which constipation, infections, eating habits, hygiene, ulcers, etc. They are so painful that you may not be able to walk if not handled earlier at notice.
Ooh..! I recall that discomfort, so unbearable. Now, my issue was Eating Habits, as a struggling youth, always looking for cheaper foods that fit the budget/pocket, left me with little options to choose from. Foods (Kikomando/chapati+beans, rolex/chapati+eggs, Bread, etc) that have no health benefit but just to feel the stomach and live to see the next day and these left to ulcers. The situation escalated when I added on those high-acidic fruits (Oranges, Pineapples, Lemons) which I needed so bad for my flue and cough at the time. The ulcers (Peptic) grew and made my lips red (I even started to think that I have HIV and I checked severally). They cause uncomfortable itching around the Anal area and tempted me to scratch every time, good enough I visited the health center and I was assisted immediately.
Here is what you have to do, go for check-up regularly and don't wait to get sick, the cost is pain. Know the foods that you should avoid incase you have a health issue.
My lesson learned...!!!
If you don't eat food as your medicine, the medicine becomes your food.
