Make sure you make research to know the real problem and give solutions which are personalized. Offer a sense of community and belonging, because today's consumers wat to feel seen and thus you have to understand and listening their hopes, dreams and pain points. One has to develop their Emotional Quotient (EQ) or Emotional intelligence (EI) to control themselves especially during a rejection.
Understand how to use empathy and emotional triggers to tap into the feelings that motivate buyers. According to neuroscience, people tend to buy based on emotions, then justify their actions with logic.
The challenge is in understanding which specific emotions (either fear, envy, shame, importance, etc.) motivate your prospect. How do we get to know their emotions, it is through asking questions to probe deeper to understand their real problems even before presenting your product or service, and base on the emotion to present how the service will relieve their feeling.
