Leaders in Africa have a tendency of deliberately failing to sensitize or educate the youth in fear of loosing their jobs to the youths. In many cases, they try to instill fear in the youths for their job security. This causes all sorts of phobia among the youth.

Your brain will try to convince you to play it safe. It will tell you that you can't succeed or that you shouldn't bother trying something new.
But even when these thoughts lack a rational basis, we still sometimes allow our anxiety to prevail. Instead of thinking about what could be when we take a risk, we focus on "what if?"
But risks don't have to be reckless.
And while avoiding all risk might seem like a smart way to manage anxiety, in the long run, playing it small is the perfect recipe for depression.
The problem is that we often base our decisions on emotion rather than logic. We incorrectly assume that there's a direct correlation between our fear level and the risk level.
But more often than not, our emotions are just not rational. If we truly understood how to calculate risk, we would know which risks are worth taking, and we would be a lot less fearful about taking them.

The African youths have fears of failure because some leaders or government will give them scholarship go to read in overseas country and forget to send fees.when this happens failure comes in.

Yes the youths always fear to fail in that our African leaders concentrate on their families and forget the other people. For example they give scholarship to the youths to go study overseas ,pay their school fees for the first session and stop there.,frustrating the youth.

Fear of governing and fear of success / failure is very very real. Mostly due to the market of pride.

This is true because a big number of African youth is jobless due to the fear to try. And more to that most of the African countries train the youth to be job seekers, this has left no room for the youth to plan on their own.

Absolutely many youths fear to take risks more especially in the central hear but in the rest of the parts in the country for them they are risk takers and in most cases risk takers do best their destination or otherwise they meet their dreams very first.

Of course many of the youth fear to take risks because they think that everything is Impossible they attempt to do yet they end up loosing their chances.More so the youth have not been senstized much in enterprenurship which leads them to fear risks.

Yes,it is very true, because African are taught from schools, that risking is not good. That Africans must learn to be economical and start saving, and that through saving is how to get riches, which is very wrong in this century.
Africans can not remove saved money ,to put in investment, a thing which is very wrong !!
But all this come from the education which they think can not change, when other things are changing every now and then.
