Both are important but Christmas is my favorite because it is the actual reason for the season. And besides, here in Uganda we don't celebrate thanks giving anyway.

The fourth Thursday in November is one of the best days of the year.

Thanksgiving has all the elements of the perfect holiday — you get to eat delicious food, spend time with family and friends, and you don't even have to leave the house (if your family is hosting, that is).

Every family has their own unique traditions, but giving thanks while enjoying classic dishes like roast turkey and pumpkin pie are some of our favorites. No matter how you celebrate, Thanksgiving is the perfect way to kick off the holiday season.

I prefer Christmas because it is the time to renew my life, is the best time to reflect where Jesus the savior brought you from, and is the most enjoyable moment all over the year.

I would prefer Thanksgiving coz it reminds me to always be thankful for all what God is doing in my life and yes I like Christmas coz its also the season of giving but even though we should have the giving spirit all year old and of course the foods from both holidays are good.
