For the last four months, I have been trying desperately to salvage a 3 year relationship with a cheater. The cheater was unwilling to make any changes to reestablish trust and even changed passcodes to further act in secrecy. As hard as it is to let a person go, it’s much more difficult to lose yourself in the process. They will manipulate, lie and twist events to justify their behavior. It is all a ruse. They may be willing to lie to you but eventually you have to stop lying to yourself and move on as painful as it is.
How do you vote?
She or he should be given achance,
When it comes to partnersthere must be aroot cause of the cheating but if you are to solve that you have to be Open and speak out what has brought you to do that if it can be solved them life continues.
IF you fail to agree then everyone will be able to do what makes him or her feel happy.

Cheaters deserve a second chance only. If after a second chance, the cheater persists in cheating, there will not be any need to hope he/she would change. Some people cheat because they are tired of a relationship and the only way to leave it is to be discovered and sent packing.

For a relationship to thrive it requires both partners to work on it tirelessly together. If you find that it's only drainiy your efforts,I agree with you. Give it up and move on.

Just go on till the lies and manipulation turn into serious beating. Please wait till you have been beaten all your teeth out.

The same story happened to my colleague. He lost a lot of money in the process of trying to make the cheater happy contented and to lack nothing do that they will be together. But he ended up alone miserable and can't trust again or even love someone. Very dissapointed.

I agree, full repentance would come with the determination and willingness to change behavior. Then they would deserve your forgiveness. Not to keep on hurting you. It's not fair.

Both of you need to go to councling together. Don't let go if you love the person. People sometimes change for the better. But if the person doesn't want to reform them you let go

The more you tolerate the person the more hurt you become. St some point that pain may not heal you end up at a councilor's for therapy or in a rehabilitation center. Or worse even you end up in a mental hospital. Please quit the relationship when it's still early.

I believe that it's very easy to move on once you have genuinely forgiven the person. You become friends my dear. It's a very short life we are living. Too short to keep grudges. The perfect ones are not yet born.

Acting in secrecy is one of the things that brings about doubt in y other partner. Though at the same time you can hardly find partners who share passwords these days. VERY DIFFICULT

It may be possible to forgive them and patch things up but if the episodes are repeated,it really gets tough along the way. Could post cause death especially if the offended acts in anger
