It's only in few countries especially Uganda where school fees is hiked every single term due to inflation and high taxes levied on school and it was exacerbated with the pandemic since it has wiped out most schools and most people being laid out from their work and thus becoming a problem for parents.

It has been observed that many schools have increased their fees since the schools reopened. It is of great concern that many parents cannot afford their children's schools as the hike in the fees is beyond the reach of many parents who lost their jobs as result of the coronavirus pandemic. Government should do something urgently.
