Countries that try to deny their citizens access to cryptocurrencies are mainly countries with corrupt leaderships. They are afraid that their corrupt practices will be discovered. They can no longer drain the treasury of their countries and stash their loots in western banks. With the use of the cryptocurrencies, it cannot be business as usual.
