That king and his female worriors were absolutely crazy... According wat I have seen... Above.. The matter they carried about was superiority and influence... But they cared less to common lives....

Imagine a woman cutting off her Right breast for a matter of braveness!! To that isn't braveness. It is lack of knowledge and vision for their own lives..They didn't have dignity.

Due to their cultural settings.Only were respected and valued when they cut off their Right Breast. So this was an act Inhuman for the culture basis...100%

Béhanzin was born around 1845. He is the son of Dada GLELE KINIKINI.
He reigned from 1882 to 1894 and spent the rest of his life in exile and wandering.
Real name Hondo (the shark) is known to have had a female army (the Amazons), true warriors who gave their last breath to protect their king.

Legend has it that these women cut their right breasts for better archery.

At the time, this kind of surgery was done without anesthesia because it showed courage, bravery.
It was a matter of honor.
This is how Béhanzin paid them a heartfelt tribute in gratitude for the lives lost to protect his own.

At that time much of Africa was under European colonization.
However, there were still a few hotbeds of rebellion.
The kingdom of Danhomey was part of it.
Béhanzin did not want to lose the sovereignty of his kingdom
