DO NOT DISCOURAGE YOURSELF FROM PERSEVERING FOR GOD'S WORK

1Ezra 5: 11-15
[11] This is their answer to us: We are the servants of the God of heaven and earth, and we are rebuilding the house which was built many years ago;
it was built and finished by a great king of Israel.
[12] But after our fathers angered the God of heaven, he delivered them into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon the Chaldean, who destroyed that house and took the people captive to Babylon.
[13] However, in the first year of Cyrus king of Babylon, King Cyrus gave orders to rebuild this house of God.
[14] And even king Cyrus took away from the temple of Babylon the vessels of gold and silver of the house of God, which Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple of Jerusalem and carried into the temple of Babylon, and gave them to the named one.
Scheschbatsar, whom he appointed governor,
[15] And he said unto him, Take these utensils, and go and deposit them in the temple of Jerusalem, and may the house of God be built in the place where it was.
