I completely agree with you that Ugx has no value at the moment, i personally thought that by the time this government came into power, alot of things would change for better. I remember deduction of 30% on all Ugx by then as i little child, however, we are actually where we were while i was still a primary school going child. I see decentralized finance as the best solution to Uganda's problems economically.

I wish the Ugandan currency regains value when it turns digital.

Our currency has lost value because of over printing and printing of big notes like the 50000 which made 50 and 100 coins useless. But when we go digital we shall have no big notes and i think it will give us chance to correct the mistakes we made before. Other currencies start from 1 but Uganda starts from 50 i think you see how our currency was made light and devalued.

How do you vote?

What determines a country's currency to be valuable or not is it's purchasing power . Unless Uganda stabilises it's economy, it's currency will be less valuable even though it goes digital. In a country which imports 90% and exports 5%, a country which is indebted more than it's GDP, a country that can't run it's budget for more than 3 months, it'd be difficult for it's currency to gain value even though it goes digital.
