You can't give what you don't have and it makes nonsense to treasure money than saving people lives, however much it's good to widen the export base of a country while narrowing the import base but it doesn't make sense to cater for neighbours while leaving your people at home to die of hunger.

For sure when it comes to export you May find a farmers harvesting products in plenty and sell them off cheaply and left empty handled with out anything to feed the family members.
I think we still luck common sense in some areas.

Thats Uganda we have plenty of food but we don't store some just in case of the emergency like we had during the lockdown.
