Como todo pais productor de petroleo, Uganda se desarrollará y progresara si los gobernantes no son corruptos y utilizan el dinero en pro de la comunidad.

The question would have been that will the nationals benefit from that oil or it will bring in more challenges and others term it as a curse. it makes no sense when the countries GDP is performing well yet the citizens are in absolute poverty. this creates a gap between the rich and the poor. hence the poor becoming slaves in their country by working in the factories of the rich.

Will Uganda develop as other oil producing countries?

Oil was discovered in Uganda in late 1970's but it never been exploited by that time. Should we expect economic growth and development in Uganda as an oil producing country or it might turn to be an oil curse as it has been for other countries.

How do you vote?

First of all oil is already being sold on black market without the acknowledgement of the parliament and the public and that funds are being swindled by director Museveni and his family after personalising natural resources and hence there's no hope of development in Uganda even though exploration of oil is under taken.

Secondly , oil is not the only natural resource Uganda has. There's gold, copper, lime, uranium etc and none of the profits from those resources is included in the GDP of Uganda. There's hydro electric power which is exported to neighbouring countries such as Rwanda, S. Sudan and non is reported to the GDP and hence there's hope of miracles to happen with oil when other natural resources outcomes are stolen, unless Uganda is being liberated, that's when those natural resources will benefit Ugandans not a few individuals while accumulating huge debts which is also being stolen by the same individuals.
